2022 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 6)
McCann Libby is a 2023 MIF/OF, UT with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Frisco, TX who attends Lone Star. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.93 seconds. Hits from wide-based stance with easy trigger, tight turn with good bat speed, showing some length to entry path, quick hands with projectable bat speed, middle-field approach with some lift to stroke, really projects well as he gains strength. Primary infielder, good hands out front with clean actions, developing feel to backhand, extra steps into gather, clocked up to 81 mph on throws. Also took reps in the outfield and graded out better there, under control with good pace to actions, stays athletic working through, clocked up to 87 mph on throws. Good tools all around that project. Very good student, named to 2022 WWBA Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.
