Carson Crowe is a 2018 RHP/OF with a 6-3 220 lb. frame from Tuscaloosa, AL who attends American Christian Academy. Big and strong athletic build, pretty mature physically. Compact arm action with a tight 3/4's release, could extend better through release, works across his body. Upper 80's fastball, topped out at 90 mph early, works to the glove side with his fastball and gets frequent cutting life. Breaking ball varied between curveball and slider shapes, sweeping break of different sizes. Potential two-way prospect. 6.98 runner, left handed hitter with a lift and pull approach and plenty of bat speed and raw power, has quick hands and good bat speed, will pull off the ball at times. Good student.
