Jonathan Ponder is a 2020 OF/ with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Lawrenceville, GA who attends Parkview. Showcased a large frame with a strong, lean build showing. Very mature physically with even more room to fill down the road. Ultra athletic. Ran a 6.57 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder showing a great first step with clean routes to the baseball. Tracks it well and then shows a smooth glove. Arm accurate around the bags. Righthanded hitter starting from a narrow stance with an open front foot. Hands showing some bat wrap over the head. Very quick hands throwing them at the baseball while keeping his weight on his backside. Linear swing path looking to drive the baseball and use his baserunning instincts to create runs. Raw skill set in the box with projectable tools. Great Student. Named to Southeast Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.
