Trey Livingstone is a 2018 RHP/2B with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Pennsburg, PA who attends Upper Perkiomen. Medium frame with a compact build. Plenty of room for additional size with strength. On the mound drives downhill to a slightly closed landing position that produces some crossfire arm action. Shows arm speed with smooth acceleration through release. Hides fastball well from a high three quarters arm slot that has some heavy life at times. Slider has tight spin with some tilt at 66 mph. Flashed a curveball with 11/5 shape and solid depth. Deceptive rotation with curveball with similar release point to slider. Agressive in the zone coming after hitter. Shows ability to work both edges of the plate down in the zone. Right handed hitter with a bent knee stance and rotational lower half. Inside swing path and approach with a line drive plane through contact. Primarily used a mid-field approach that results in line drive, ground ball contact. Also worked out defensively form the infield showing solid footwork and smooth glove skills while surrounding the baseball. Quick, clean glove to hand transfers with a pure release on throws across the infield. Developing actions and range to each side with long strides to grounder up the middle. Tolls should continue to develop with maturity.
