Gage Morris is a 2019 RHP/C/3B with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Cartersville, GA who attends Cartersville HS. Young athletic build, plenty of room and time to get stronger. Big leg raise delivery, gets balance over the rubber well, very compact arm action with a limited takeaway, 3/4's low elbow arm slot. Fastball topped out at 75 mph, mostly straight. Threw three separate breaking balls, lower 50's curveball lacks spin, 57 mph curveball has some shape and is thrown for strikes, 66 mph slider had a short break, rare change up. Threw strikes and challenged hitters. Right handed hitter, wide base with an early stride to contact, big weight shift and pull back creates length, has some strength for his age in his swing. Good student.
