Nicholas Argenziano is a 2019 3B/RHP, 1B with a 6-0 215 lb. frame from Closter, NJ who attends Northern Valley Regional. Recorded a 7.76 second 60-yard dash time. Extra-large frame and build with well-proportioned strength throughout. Primary third baseman with fluid, simple actions in the infield. Deliberate footwork with an accurate arm across. Third base actions and future with good present strength. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a simple rocker step into the leg lift. Works through the gather quickly and stays balanced. Drop and drive lower half mechanics with a shorter and quick arm action. Higher three-quarters arm slot and maintains arm speed on the breaking ball. Tight spin to the pitch with 11/5 shape and solid depth. Mixed speeds and locations well and stayed low in the strike zone; efficient and effective on the mound. Righthanded hitter with an upright, slightly open stance. Simple front side trigger with a high hand set and a high back elbow. Naturally lofted barrel plane and swings with intent. Showed present bat speed with strength when squared. Good carry on a gap-to-gap basis. Small leg lift trigger into the swing and can drive the ball well to all fields. Looking to lift the ball for home runs. Excellent student.
