James Dillon is a 2019 3B/SS with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Sudbury, MA who attends Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School. Medium, athletic frame with broad shoulders and nice present strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 7.00 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, fields the ball close to body, hands play at the ball, overall fluidity and footwork will continue to develop with repetitions, full arm action through the back, on top of throws and shows arm strength across diamond. Righthanded hitter, begins with a wide base and strides well into contact with lower half. Medium hand set and shows quickness to them in swing, full path through the zone with sound bat speed at present. Gets upper body dominant in swing, linear swing plane with consistent line drive contact off the barrel and shows ability to impact the ball, natural feel for the barrel. Very good student. Named to Northeast Underclass Top Prospect List.
