2006 Northeast Top Prospect Showcase
Gregory Ward is a 2007 RHP with a 6'3'', 170 lb. frame from Meriden, CT who attends Loomis Chaffee School. Gregory has a lean athletic build with a lot of room to fill out. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a long loose arm action. Gregory has a good downhill plane on his pitches and showed nice run on his fastball. He shows an 11 to 5 curveball and a nice change-up with sinking action. His delivery is inconsistent at times and he needs to work on smoothening up some. Gregory is a very good student that should attract the attention of many small to mid-level college programs.
