Samuel Simpson is a 2021 RHP/3B with a 6-1 163 lb. frame from Carrollton, GA who attends Carrollton. Long and slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. Upper body delivery, has a loose and whippy arm with very good arm speed, can improve his lower half use and direction. Fastball topped out at 91 mph with the ability to spot it to both sides of the plate, good running life at times. Nice curveball with power and tight spin, sharp biting action. Still projectable physically with two solid present pitches. Good student, verbal commitment to South Carolina.
