Ty Hitsos is a 2018 RHP/OF with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Fayetteville, GA who attends The Campus United. Large frame with long limbs and lean build. Frame projects to support additional size and strength. Primary right handed pitcher who worked exclusively from the stretch. Simple leg lift to belt and stays balanced on back side at gather. Tends to land at a slightly closed position while working to the plate. Hid the baseball well with a shorter arm circle at take back and released from a compact arm slot. Consistently located fastball offering down in the strike zone creating some downward plane in the mid 70's, topped at 76 miles per hour. Curveball had 11/5 shape with loose spin and good depth. Matches arm slot while releasing breaking ball and showed the feel to consistently locate to the bottom of the zone. Consistently kept hitter off balance through each inning of work and induced weak contact. Good student as well.
