Mason Kearney is a 2019 RHP/IF/C with a 5-11 198 lb. frame from Roswell, GA who attends Lassiter HS. Strong and thick well proportioned build. Old school delivery with a big rocker step and high leg lift, lots of moving parts to time up and keep balanced, up tempo pace, 3/4's arm slot, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, mostly straight. Short slurve type breaking ball gets off barrels, throws both his curveball and fastball for strikes and works ahead. Has interesting left handed power, open stance with a pull approach, big hanging front leg load, has quickness to his hands and the ball jumps well to the pull side, lifting power approach. Young actions in the infield, has also caught in the past.
