Aaron Lowery is a 6'1" 178 pound 2006 right handed pitcher and outfielder from Carrolton, Texas who attends Creekview High School. He has a strong athletic body and a medium frame. Aaron has a very easy arm action on the mound. He has good velocity on his fastball at 83 mph with late life to it. His curveball was an excellent pitch as well at 66 mph with sharp late break. His change up was at 71 mph with some arm side run. He mixes his pitches very well and changes speeds as well. Lowery showed his strong arm from the outfield as well by throwing 84 mph during the workout. His throws were accurate and he has good actions in the field. At the plate, Lowery loads his hands well and has somewhat of an uppercut in his swing. He has a nice smooth swing and goes to the opposite field very well. Aaron is also a good student.
