Teague Hoover is a 2022 SS/RHP, 2B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Sunbury, PA who attends Selinsgrove Area. Recorded a 7.05 second sixty-yard dash time. Medium frame with athletic look and present athleticism. Primary middle-infielder with athletic actions into the fielding process, while displaying good lateral range to either side and a clean funnel out in front. Implores good lower half usage to work downhill through the process with a clean transfer into release. Recorded arm strength up to 85 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and hover trigger for timing. Simple swing mechanics with good rhythm, feel for the barrel and loose, quick hands. Middle-to-pull approach with ability to get extended out in front and produce line drive impact to the gaps when on time. Implores leverage well through contact, while showing consistent bat-to-ball skills and intent. Fundamentally sound prospect with upside remaining on both sides of the ball. Good Student.
