Connor Maryniak is a 2021 MIF/RHP with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Shillington, PA who attends Governor Mifflin. Recorded a 5.13 second 40-yd dash time. Primary infielder with quick feet and good reads on grounders. Smooth actions and works through the ball well with arm strength recorded up to 75 mph. Athletic actions and accuracy across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a quick paced delivery and upside on the mound. Attacks hitters with a fastball in the 81-82 mph range, while using a short three-quarters arm slot. Present athleticism and simplicity of operation project well. Shows ability to command both sides of the plate, while mixing in two developing off-speed pitches. Slider shows short, quick 11-to-5 shape with swing-and-miss potential. Change-up shows potential with similar arm speed and deception. Right-handed hitter with an upright, even stance and high hand set. Small leg lift trigger in the swing with some present bat speed. Uses hips nicely with some lift to his path. Shows consistent bat-to-ball skills with potential for more power in the long term. Excellent Student.
