Jacob Garrity is a 2017 C/RHP with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Frisco, TX who attends Frisco HS. Garrity has a medium sized frame with some strength and projection. He gains ground well on his pop throws and showed solid catch and throw actions. Garrity has a clean transfer and release with arm strength up to 76 MPH. He showed solid receiving and blocking skills in game as well. At the plate Garrity starts with a slightly open stance and uses a toe touch trigger to start his swing. He look to lift the ball and got the ball in the air with consistency. Garrity has some length to his swing and strength in his swing as well. He showed some pop to the pull side and some power potential. Garrity pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with along arm action. He threw a change up with sink and maintains arm speed on it. Excellent student.
