Mark Flores is a 2017 OF/ with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Lawrenceville, GA who attends Collins Hill. Large frame with athletic, strong build throughout body and good projection remaining as well. Ran 60 yard dash in 6.79 seconds. Sets up to hit with wide-based, open stance, high hand and back elbow set, closes off well in stride, shows good hand speed, swings the bat with intent, has power in swing and can drive the ball on a line. Does a solid job covering the plate with swing. Worked out defensively in the outfield, moves well to the ball with good footwork and athleticism throughout his actions, projects well as an outfielder. Fields cleanly and gets off quick release, very good arm strength with accuracy, clocked up to 88 MPH. Named to 2016 Sunshine Southeast Top Prospect List. Good student.
