2015 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Lyric Harrell is a 2017 SS/2B with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Acworth, GA who attends Praise Academy. Small build, medium frame with room to fill out physically. From the infield, showed soft hands and quick transfer ability. Made all of the plays during drills, probably best suited for second base. At the plate, utilized a wide base and high hand set. Deep hand load start and swings hard. Shows some barrel feel and makes consistent contact. Would do well to incorporate lower half more into swing. Will improve with added strength. Exceptional student.
