Caleb Reis is a 2019 C/RHP/1B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Mount Bethel Christian HS. Nice athletic build with good present strength. Solid defensive actions behind the plate, has good footwork and stays low and flexible, throws are accurate with some carry from a slightly lower arm slot. Right handed hitter, starts the bat on his shoulder with a short shift into contact, line drive swing plane with a pull side to middle of the field contact, has strength in his swing when timed with some gap power. Also pitched, basic turn and throw delivery from a tight mid 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 87 mph, has been up to 90 mph frequently at PG events in the past, keeps it low in the zone well with good running life, repeated his mechanics well and lived at the hitter's knees. Aggressive with his fastball in a quick inning, flashed a slider and change up. Good student, verbal commitment to Georgia Tech.
