Zack Kokoska is a 2017 LHP/OF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Latrobe, PA who attends Greater Latrobe. Long lean athletic build with room to fill out. has simple hip back turn at balance. Stays balanced through an online delivery. Does good job getting over front side and extended at release point. Fastball has good cutting action down in zone, almost acts like a slider at times. Has command of fastball down in zone Curveball has good shape and rotation. Hit from the left side, starts square with a wide base and a high hand set. Lowers hands on load a bit, line drive swing plane with good bat speed. Hands work well and has feel for barrel and shows strength in swing. Defensively, threw 89 from the OF with good feet on crow hop. Gets behind ball and works through well, ball comes out well with carry and accuracy. Also ran a 6.93 sixty. Good Student.
