Trevor McKinley is a 2015 LHP/OF with a 6-2 188 lb. frame from Dadeville, AL who attends Dadeville HS. Tall build with a strong lower half and more narrow lower half. Deep arm in back, extended high 3/4's arm slot, cross body release with some energy, pulls down hard at release, arm slot too high for cross body mechanics. Big downhill angle, misses low the majority of the time. Primary fastball pitcher, fastball topped out at 85 mph, maintained velocity well. Nice change up with occasional cutting action, will work fastball and change up velo's together with some feel. Rare curveball, curveball flashes fair spin and shape. Projects physically and has a strong arm, has the chance to improve with some adjustments. Good overall athlete who has some raw left handed bat speed and athletic looseness and arm strength in the outfield. Good student.
