Balser is a 6-0 junior right handed pitcher from New Hampshire with a lively athletic body. Balser ran a very good 60 (6.87) but his defense and hitting skills are not at "top prospect" level at this time in our opinion. On the mound, Balser has a short compact arm action and a high leg kick that hides the ball well from the hitters. His fastball was 78-79 mph and had good sinking action. Balser’s curveball was 59-60 mph and could use more velocity. He is athletic and has a good feel for the game.
