Maxwell Urena is a 2023 2B/SS with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Ozone Park, NY who attends Christ The King Regional. Medium, slender frame with square shoulders and plenty of room to add strength. Recorded a 7.45 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary middle-infielder with smooth actions and fundamentally sound footwork throughout the fielding process. Displayed good lateral range to either side and worked downhill through the baseball and showed the ability to throw from multiple arm angles when necessary. Recorded arm strength up to 81 mph across the diamond during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wider, slightly open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and hanging trigger. Middle-of-the field approach with compact, line drive stroke and some whip to his barrel. Displayed consistent bat-to-balls skills and will continue to improve with additional strength. Fundamentally sound defensive skill set with some physical upside remaining. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
