Chris Gambert is a 2016 C with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Louisville, KY who attends Dupont Manual HS. Tall and angular athletic frame, has some present strength with room for more. 7.49 runner, has some athleticism behind the plate, solid arm strength with carry on his throws, can improve his footwork throwing and shifting, has soft hands receiving the ball, projects well on defense. Right handed hitter, still start, simple rotational swing, starts with his hands low and tends to hit from under the ball, has some strength on contact and the ball comes off the barrel well, has the tools to develop as a hitter with adjustments.
