Tyler Clark is a 2016 RHP/ with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Lees Summit, MO who attends Blue Springs South. Tall, atheltice frame with present strength. On the mound shows a long 3/4 slot with a loose, quick arm actions. Drop and drive mechanics that produce on line, downward plane on offerings. Fastball has some arm side run and late jump ranging from 79-82 mph. Curveball has 11/5 shape with some depth. Eblow angle has a tendency to drop and produce soft spin when starting at right handers belt. Curveball topped at 71 mph. Was able to create some bite with curveball in later innings. Flashed a change up that shows fading actions and topped at 69 mph. Can move all pitches in and out while producing soft groundball contact and shows the ability to stay off barrels. Does have a tendency to show the ball early at times. Holds runners well. Very good student as well.
