Daniel Cole is a 2017 SS/RHP, IF, OF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Harker Heights, TX who attends Harker Heights. Large frame with a strong build with clear signs of present strength. Really good carry on throws from the outfield with clean footwork and a quick release. Consistently got behind the baseball and put himself in a good position to throw to the target base. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a slightly open stance, wide base, and a high hand set. Swing is triggered from a high leg lift. Natural lift on his bat path with with some nice pop off the bat when squared up. On the mound, explosive fastball coming from a high effort high 3/4 arm slot. Slider was very sharp and curveball showed good depth. Also does a nice job of maintaining arm speed on all three pitches. Bulldog mentality that competes every pitch. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List
