Evan Bergman is a 2018 OF/RHP, IF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Tenafly, NJ who attends Bergen Catholic High School. Large, athletic frame with a long and lean projectable frame with plenty of room to fill with additional strength. Ran a 5.03 40-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well to the ball and does a nice job of working through it, mostly arm at release and projects with better use of lower half, short arm action through the back and shows present arm strength with accuracy. Righthanded hitter, begins swing with a leg lift trigger for timing and keeps swing short with hands inside. Shows ability to turn on inner half and creates some loft at contact while showing strength to swing. Loud contact coming off the barrel when on time with lower half. Has hitting tools that project nicely moving forward.
