Tyler Neises is a 2023 1B/RHP with a 6-4 215 lb. frame from Rocky Face, GA who attends Dalton. Extra Large frame with a physical presence showing strength throughout. Ran a 6.96 second sixty yard dash. Primary First Baseman, works well around the baseball showing proper footwork. Scoops it up and released from multiple arm slots with accuracy to throws turning two. Feel for the position showing and fits the profile. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, starting from left-side of the rubber, he works into the motion. Full leg lift to a long arm swing in the back while staying direct to dish on the stride. Higher slot release going right at guys. Full intent looking to throw it by hitters. Struggled at times with command. Fastball up to 85 mph with life out of hand. Spin rates up to 1,841 rpm. Also mixed in breaking ball with depth in the upper-70's with spin rates up to 1,763 rpm. Left-Handed Hitter, low hand set while balanced in the stance. Strides out creating separation and took some violent cuts. Drove the baseball deep to the middle of the field with a flick of the wrists. Doubled deep into the gap during games.
