Andre A. Muniz is a 2016 MIF/3B with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from San Juan, PR who attends Col. San Jose de Rio Piedras. Very slender young build, minimal present strength. 7.67 runner, has good feet on defense and moves actively to the ball, fields the ball cleanly out front, will throw from different arm angles, arm strength still developing. Switch hitter, similar approach from both sides, gets to his front side early, tends to get hands separated from his body early, arm swing, gets the barrel out front and looks to make contact, does a good job of finding the barrel and spraying the ball around the field. Getting stronger will be the key. Good student.
