Connor Stroh is a 2016 RHP/3B with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Lakeville, MN who attends Lakeville South. Tall athletic from with projection. On the mound shows a long arm action with and extended 3/4 arm slot. Creates some downhill angle and tends to have horizontal release to glove side. Creates direction towards left handed hitters on stride with a long, deliberate finish. Misses to glove hand side when off balance. Showed a straight fastball that ranged from 79-84 mph, topped at 85 mph. Curveball has 10/4 sweeping shape with some depth, topped at 68 mph. Flahsed a changeup with some fading action, topped at 70 mph. Tends to slow arm speed on changeup offerings. Created better direction that resulted in better command of pitches in later innings. Live arm with projection. Projects to be a solid next level pitcher with continued development of mechanics. Good student as well.
