Adam Farris is a 2020 C/3B/OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Memorial HS. Medium frame with square shoulders and strength in build. Ran a 7.43 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary catcher. Sets up in a high stance to start. Simple mechanics while gaining ground out. Quickness to release through a compact transfer. Throws topping out at 74 miles per hour and popping a 2.04 during workouts. Worked out as a secondary outfielder. Athletic movements when closing to the ball. Fields out front and into transfers. Clean arm action with on line throws topping out at 82 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with an even stance to start and short stride for timing. Simple approach with a controlled linear shift into contact. Line drive plane through the zone creating carry off the barrel.
