Brandon Llewellyn is a 2020 RHP with a 6-2 150 lb. frame from Colleyville, TX who attends IMG Academy. Very slender build. High leg lift delivery into drop and drive mechanics, high 3/4's arm slot, has good rhythm to his delivery, some energy at release, loose arm stroke. Mid-80's fastball, topped out at 86 mph, has been up 89 mph at PG events before, mostly straight. Showed good feel for his breaking ball, shaped it differently at times and landed it for strikes. Straight change was located well away from hitters. Good athlete who fielded his position well and threw strikes. Good student, verbal commitment to Notre Dame.
