Jacob Redman is a 2018 LHP with a 5-10 135 lb. frame from Conyers, GA who attends Salem HS. Redman has a smaller frame with a thin lean build. He pitches from a low 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action. He tends to push the baseball and gets some cut action on his fastball. Redman gets good extension out front and has an online delivery. He has developing command and feel for his fastball. Defensively Redman moves quick to the ball at 1B with arm strength up to 64 MPH. At the plate, Redman starts with an upright square stance with a toe tap trigger. He works around the baseball in his swing and showed a middle of the field approach in game. Young player who will really improve with growth and strength gains.
