Connor Welker is a 2022 2B/C, SS with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Concord, NC who attends Cox Mill. Recorded a 6.86 second sixty-yard dash. Primary second baseman plays low to the ground with good athletic movements and ranges to the ball with ease as he changes direction funneling the ball out front with a quick transfer alongside accurately throwing across the diamond. Right-handed hitter steps to the plate with high hands, a high back elbow, and swings with a toe tap trigger on a line drive plane spraying the ball to both sides of the field while developing barrel control and backspin on the ball. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
