Dalton Miller is a 2019 RHP with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Lima, OH who attends Shawnee HS. Tall and lanky build, young look with good physical projection, has loose athletic actions. Drop and drive delivery mechanics with some back side collapse and a long stride out front, compact arm action with a tight 3/4's arm slot. Steady low 70's fastball, works low in the strike zone consistently and misses low when he misses, stays out of the middle of the plate well and throws lots of strikes. Relied mostly on his fastball but occasionally showed a slurve type breaking ball with some bite that he could mix in more. Might benefit from a taller delivery to create angle and get better leverage for his loose arm. Very good student.
