Kenen Irizarry is a 2018 SS/2B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Guanica, PR who attends Aurea Quiles Claudio. Slender young build, should fill out a bit but will always be smaller, lithe athlete. 6.59 runner, outstanding defensive tools, light on his feet with quick steps, can improve basic footwork through the ball but solid at present, fields the ball cleanly out front, elite level arm strength, really throws easy with plus on line carry. Left handed hitter, hits from and open stance with a hand drop load, quick hands with a quick bat, not strong yet but can get the ball up the right centerfield gap, good swing to build on with additional strength. Did not pitch but has been 88 mph off the mound and might be much better than that with work. Very good student, signed with Miami Dade.
