Mason Behn is a 2022 RHP/IF, OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Cedar Rapids, IA who attends John F Kennedy. Right-handed pitcher with a medium frame and some strength in the lower half. Starts from the windup with a small side step to a belt high leg lift, stays aggressive down the mound with drop and drive actions and flashes some arm speed from an over the top slot. Has some effort at release, pitching to all four quadrants with a heavy fastball at 80-84 miles per hour. Can change eye levels effectively, missing bats above the zone. Shows good feel to spin a curveball with 11-5 shape and late depth through the zone in the upper-60s and also showed a slider with some tilt at 72 miles per hour. Can land both breaking balls for strikes and also showed a change-up with fading action in the low-70s. Good student. Named to 2020 Pitcher/Catcher Showcase, Top Prospect List.
