Eduardo Acosta is a 2018 SS with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from San German, PR who attends Montverde Academy. Slender athletic build, square shoulders with some room to get stronger. Switch-hitter, somewhat different swing approaches from each side but essentially the same level hitter, might be a bit more fluid left handed with better extension and a bit more power potential left handed, right handed swing is shorter and more direct with the liklihood of more consistent line drive contact, has some bat speed from both sides and should continue to improve as he gets stronger. Second base tools and actions in the infield, fields the ball cleanly out front with soft hands, stays balanced well, was solid in the games and made routine plays cleanly, makes accurate throws, 6.99 runner. Good student.
