DeMarcus Dickey is a 2022 SS/2B, 3B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Decatur, GA who attends Georgia Premier Academy. Recorded a 7.39 second sixty-yard dash. Primary shortstop has a good first step with great lateral movement as he cleanly fields the ball out front with smooth glove actions. Dickey funnels the ball into a quick release across the diamond accurately throwing 79 mph. Right-handed hitter steps to the plate with a narrow, slightly closed off stance and swings with a simple leg lift trigger while dropping the hands as he pulls them in alongside working the ball gap-to-gap with quick hands. Good student.
