Tate McKee is a 2023 RHP/3B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Kennesaw, GA who attends Mt Paran Christian. Young and slender high waisted build, lots of physical projection remaining. Compact high arm action with a high 3/4's arm slot, short stride out front, has a fast arm that works well. Fastball worked in the low 90's and topped out at 94 mph, has good fastball command, gets very downhill on his fastball with some arm side run as well, fastball can over match hitters. Showed a breaking ball with both curveball and slider shapes, runs away from the pitch at times with his upper body direction creating inconsistency, breaking ball has good spin and big depth at times, needs more mechanical consistency on the pitch but it has big potential. High ceiling arm. Very good student, verbal commitment to Georgia Tech.
