Wlliam Foster Whisman is a 2025 C/RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Shelbyville, KY who attends Shelby County. Medium frame with strength already starting to show up on his build. Ran an 8.60 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, parallel set behind the dish, quick transfer out of crouch, developing lower half mechanics with good arm strength and accuracy, 2.06 second best pop time in drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher, full windup that starts with a side step up to a belt high leg lift, full arm action at take back up to a high 3/4 arm slot, fastball topped out at 78 mph with heaviness to the pitch, mixes in a curveball with developing 11-5 spin. Also took reps in the infield fielding the ball to the side and sitting back on it, young hands and full arm throws that logged up to 76 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, toe tap trigger to start and uses it for timing, compact and inside swing, stays inside the baseball with hand strength to lift the ball to both gaps at times, best when hitting the ball out in front, has the makings of good power in the box.
