Hunner Lawrence is a 2021 C/OF with a 6-0 192 lb. frame from McDonough, GA who attends Strong Rock Christian School. Recorded a 6.94 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with well-rounded physicality and strength throughout. Primary catcher with a side start and generates good carry on throws. Gets downhill and on top with very good arm strength topping out at 78 mph. Secondary outfielder where the arm plays well with throws recorded up to 87 mph. Righthanded hitter with a square stance and wide base to set up. Hands start low with a step into the swing. Generates some lift when he gets into his backside and loads up. Consistency of mechanics will be the key to allow his strength and power play consistently. Great student.
