Tyler Lozano is a 2018 C/IF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Stockton, CA who attends St. Mary's HS. Slender young athletic build, lots of room to get stronger. 6.86 runner, nice athletic actions behind the plate, gets very low and is flexible, very compact actions, quick release with plus accuracy on his throws, 1.89 best pop time, also plays the infield. Right handed hitter, has a short path to the ball with good hand quickness, uncoils in good sequence, some barrel whip, can use his lower half more to help generate bat speed, ingredients there to keep improving with additional strength. Good student, verbal commitment to Southern California.
