Ramsey David is a 2019 RHP with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Dacula, GA who attends Buford HS. Loose and projectable athletic build, lots of room to get stronger especially in the upper half. Big leg lift delivery from a side step start, some drift to the plate, bit cross body on landing, creates lots of angle from an extended 3/4's arm slot, not a comfortable at-bat for right handed hitters, medium effort at release. Fastball topped out at 92 mph, mostly straight, showed some command potential to different parts of the zone. Firm change up has nice arm speed and some deception. Slider is a promising pitch with good two-plane shape at times, will need to become more comfortable throwing the slider to left handed hitters. Will keep improving. Verbal commitment to Auburn.
