William Swope is a 2019 3B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from The Woodlands, TX who attends The Woodlands HS. Strong athletic build with room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a deep hand load, lifting long swing with good bat speed, has good lift and leverage, good looseness to his hands, showed the ability to make adjustments and drive the ball to the opposite field. Shows good agility for his size at third base, good first step and moves through the ball well, soft hands and fields the ball out front, compact arm action with some present arm strength.
