Cayden Sheffield is a 2024 C/RHP/3B with a 6-1 193 lb. frame from Dallas, GA who attends North Paulding. Strong frame with lots of strength in the lower half that will help at the catching position. Ran a 6.80 in the sixty yard dash. A primary catcher, extends well to receive and timing the pitches well. Quicker feet and keeps them in line. Popped a 1.90 during drills and showed 84 mph arm strength. Also worked out on he infield and has corner actions with 91 mph arm strength. A right-handed hitter, linear approach and anchors the base to use the ground for power. Plenty of strength in the hands has has shown juice in the box. Power potential as he develops. Excellent student. Committed to Georgia Tech.
