William Owens is a 2024 OF/RHP/1B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Senoia, GA who attends Trinity Christian. Long and lean athletic build with some present strength and room for more. Right handed hitter, sets up with high hands and creates some downhill plane into contact, simple load and trigger, consistently created back spin and carry during batting practice and games, has some present bat speed with more to come, projects well as a hitter. 7.36 runner in the sixty. Plays both outfield and first base on defense, profiles best at first base in the future as he fills out. Glove works well at first base, more comfortable moving through the ball and arm plays better at first. Bat is his tool. Good student. Named to the Sunshine Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
