Miles Owen is a 2023 3B/2B, SS with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Cartersville, GA who attends Cartersville. Showed above average speed with a 6.91 second sixty. Primary third baseman with a long lean build. Works to the spot well on the infield giving himself a proper hop to work through the ball. Carries the momentum into the throws with average arm strength across the diamond on the throws. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wider base using simple timing and trigger to start the linear path through the zone, shows flashes of bat speed at times with a longer path, worked mostly to the opposite field during his round of BP. Flashed some pull side power during the games, engages the lower half well and does a good job of creating leverage. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
