Projects for additional size with strength. Ran a 7.56 sixty yard dash. Primary left handed pitcher with a slightly crouched start prior to working into a high leg lift at balance point. Uses lower half well while working to the plate with drop and drive actions. Stays directional to the plate and carries momentum through finish consistently. Smooth arm circle back at separation and generated good arm speed from a three-quarters arm slot. Fastball came out of hand cleanly while flashing solid running action to arm side between 77-81 miles per hour. Curveball showed 1/7 shape with good rotation and solid depth to the bottom of the zone in the mid 60's. Also showed a solid changeup offering in the lower 70's that flashed lat fading action. Generated many swing and misses with changeup offering as well as weak contact. Consistently filled the strike zone with all three pitches while showing the ability to work the fastball to the inner half of the plate as well. Also worked out defensively from the outfield showing clean, compact footwork while closing to and working through the baseball. Smooth glove to hand exchanges while working through transition and releases from a long, quick over top arm slot. Throws generated solid carry to the bag with accuracy topping at 85 miles per hour. Left handed hitter with a simple, quiet stance and approach. Direct, compact hand path to contact that produces occasional leverage through extension. Flashed the ability to turn the barrel to contact and generate loud, hard contact to the pull side gap. Arrives to contact on time and produced consistent barreled contact throughout batting practice. Outstanding student as well.
