Wyatt Getz is a 2023 1B/RHP, OF with a 6-5 170 lb. frame from Buford, GA who attends Buford. Recorded a 7.34 second 60-yard dash time. Primary first-baseman with a tall frame and lean athletic build. Pretty good actions around the bag with solid footwork on the turn with throws up to 79 mph. Long limbs for a big target with ability to move around. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a staggered feet start from first base side of the rubber. Side-step to compress slab with high waist leg lift and 3/4 slot release. Longer arm swing behind to a slightly closed landing down the slope. Shorter stride with the fastball up to 78 mph and a curveball at 66 mph. Still growing into the young lanky frame with room to fill and learn to use his long limbs for maximum extension down the slope. Right-handed hitter with a slightly open even base and hanging lift trigger. Deeper hand load during separation and down-plane swing path through the zone. Barrel awareness with hard contact through the middle and impact to the pull side with some loft out front. Good student. Named to the 2021 Southeast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
