Liam Mohen is a 2018 RHP/2B with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Fair Haven, NJ who attends Rumson Fair Haven HS. Large frame, sturdy, stocky build with present strength. Primary right handed pitcher, stays online well in delivery, good direction to the plate. Works to a high 3/4's arm slot. Generates some downhill plane, fastball has natural sink, up to 62 mph. Gets extended over frontside, attacks hitters and throws strikes. Good approach, presence on the mound, shows feel for mixing in big-breaking curveball with 11/5 shape and depth. Keeps hitters off balance and changes speeds well. Also worked out in the infield, has soft hands, fields a bit deep. Made accurate throws across the diamond. Left handed hitter, bent knee stance with even setup. Contact-oriented swing, able to handle the barrel and use the entire field, spray balls across the diamond.
